Ely goes limp in her grip, and Yarra can do nothing but fall with her, body hitting the floor as her cousin’s ear slips from between her teeth. blood bathes her tongue, it’s iron tang filling her nose and gathering a string of salvia all her bottom lip. grinning, the Saxe woman runs a tongue along her teeth, savouring the taste and taunting Ely in the face of her wound. but she’s quickly distracted by the wounds openly up along her underbelly, pain blazing a hot trail through her as she writhes to escape those unyielding claws. snarling, Yarra lashes out with a hint paw and attempts to land a blow on Ely’s face as she wiggles free, hoping to hit something vital - to leave a mark so that Ely will be reminded of her dear cousin everytime she sees her own reflection.
