race the tide

It was time to go back to Boreas for a little bit. She wanted to get away from all the rain that had been harassing Auster all season, and wanted a change of pace. There was so much in Boreas she hadn't seen, and had only been there less than a handful of times for brief trips. But now? She was old enough to be able to defend herself and handle her own. Now? Nothing could stop her! She ambled toward the Bifrost, amber gaze noting the tide seemed to be getting higher. Did the water really overtake it? Was it possible to be stranded in Auster with no way across until the tide went down? It wasn't something she had considered before, but hey, if she ever got caught up in it, she was a pretty strong swimmer! She wasn't sure how strong should the ocean decide to try and rough her up, but she was sure she could manage for the most part.

A grunt from her new companion shifted her focus, and when she looked up, she spotted a body that she recognized. It was the guy she had tussled with in the Boneyard! She could never forget his face, he looked pretty cool after all! continuing forward, she grunted a greeting to alert him of her presence. While they weren't what you'd call friends ~~yet~~, she would still be cordial until given a reason not to be.
