The young girl was going on a trip with her mother, heading over to Boreas for the start of a long journey North. She had heard stories of her grandparents, and the tradition that Claire decided to start where she visited their resting places once a season to leave a gift of flowers or some other sort of offering. Avalon had insisted on coming along, bugging her mom and telling her she'd be able to make the journey despite how young she was still. Her mother, of course, had given in. And now she was on her way to go see where her lineage most often preferred to be. As they neared the Bifrost, her mother paused and cautiously sniffed the air. Her hackles rose, a low growl bubbling in her throat. Avalon mimicked her, though she didn't know what was going on quite yet. "What is it mama?" When her mom said there was a bear up ahead, her ears flattened with nervousness and excitement. She had never been up close and personal with a bear before! Though she knew they were dangerous. She trailed behind her mom until they got close enough, and when they did, she added her own barks and yips alongside her mothers to distract the bear so their packmate could try to get around it.
