Simply Unbearable

Nelu squared himself up against the bear, his defenses flying into place, hackles raised and fur on end. He snarled, trying to use his size to make the bear reconsider attacking him as well as maybe getting it to scoot to the side. He wasn't sure how his parents felt about bear's in the berry patch but it only made sense it would attack them. The bear slowed, but it didn't seem particularly interested in dropping its threats. Barking caught his attention and he turned to see an older Hallows wolf there… with a pup! His stomach knotted. He had to do something.

With the bear distracted and turning toward the woman and the pup, Nelu darted toward it, fangs latching onto its left knee just long enough to rip flesh before he bounded away. The bear snarled and whirled around to give chase. Perfect! Nelu darted east along the northern boundary of the Wildberry Grove, hoping to get it to follow him.
