As of late, Gilgamesh had not been able to find much time for patrolling. He had begun to feel restless what with the coming and going of his offspring, the other dramatics of members, and leadership duties that were required for him to assist. After waking early that morning before anyone could catch him and pull him into some one thing or another, Gil found himself on the shores of the archipelago. It was a smaller island compared to the one that housed the large flock of doves, but far closer and an easier swim. Gil found it helped release the tension in his body to swim and even as he shook off his coat, water droplets spraying across the sand, he wondered if he should go back in for more.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't get the chance. As he turns toward the rest of the island, away from the water, he catches the sight of a familiar form. One he hadn't had a chance to get to know yet. From this distance, he can see her defenses set and then relax, a good instinct that he feels good about. Approaching casually, Gil nods in greeting to the Ignis offspring. "Inferno, finding yourself at home yet?" Gil asks, trying to be conversational since he doesn't quite know her all that well.
