Jael's companion isn't gone for long, returning with the saw. It was going to be their saving grace, even if the work would be hard. For once, Jael is grateful for Kenway's near-boundless energy. Really, for as much of a handful as the kid could be, she could at least put him to work now.
A rueful chuckle crosses her lips as the boy busts out giggling. Well, it's always something, right? Her tail wagging loosely at her haunches as she moves to help the boy. Wiggling and trying to free the carcass of its teeth was tedious, but lucrative. Already, the pile was growing beside them.
"Yeah, here, I've got it." Her movements are careful, prying the remaining teeth free of the skull. It's hard work, dirty work, but looking at the pile of teeth felt good. "You want to start on the paws? As long as you don't cut yourself." Jael's tone holds an edge of warning, just in case.
