The woman’s name was Elysia, and to that Redrum wondered if they would ever meet again. He had met Star again, and the pale girl too – but who really knew. She made no movements when he circled her, made no show of being alert to the danger he posed (a little bit of a bummer). She was older though, so maybe she had the experience to turn the tides in her favor, regardless of the physical differences..

When he struck, he struck hard. She met his attack headfirst, teeth snapping at his face, a sharp sting from a fang catching his nose which forced the boy to change his initial target. His limbs tangled with her own as she sought to trip him, so the boy chose to rear back in an attempt to thrust his fores forward over her shoulders and get his face out of her reach.
