The sky looked...different. She craned her neck up to watch the night sky, noting how colors seemed swirl and wave across it. It appeared to stretch on for miles and miles and...was it going all across the continent? The world? Or just over the island and the ocean? She hadn't been off their islands yet, but she had been hearing about the adventures of her siblings and was starting to...kinda get jealous about it. She was too small to swim across on her own, and the raft was much too big for her to get it going by herself, too. Then what about when she wanted to come back? She'd have to call for her dad or someone to help her and that sounded embarrassing! She hated being so small, but now as a yearling, she didn't seem like she was going to grow anymore. She heaved a long sigh as she sat on the roof of the crumbling building, just...watching the sky shift and change colors. It almost didn't seem real, but...here she was, practically matching it.
