Loose Change

Elysia was biting and clawing away at the bears side still as it began to topple over from exhaustion and blood loss, not to mention her partners weight probably helping in that feat. Stepping back she watched as its body hit the ground with a thud and then the snap came. One she had heard before. She didn’t even need to look to know that they had won. The bear had been snuffed out.

Elysia watched as the man dismounted the corpse. Dripping in blood as he finally regarded her with his full attention. She offered him a dazzling victory smile before she turned her body to face him fully. Studying the scars that adorned his frame.

She didn’t care if it seemed rude to stare. She continued to let her eyes take over his body before she finally landed on his bright green eyes. “I’m Elysia”
