I Can't Stop, The Dogs Of War

He was highly focused on the fight between his dad and the Ethne bastard. It had been a while since he'd seen his dad in action, and he didn't often get that chance during a raid because he was usually tied up in a fight himself. But this time, he had the opportunity to watch, and he felt anticipation and a guttural growl slip up his throat as he watched his dad tear away his opponents ear, a clear victory in its own right. "Did you see that!?" He exclaimed, his own fur bristling with the excitement of having watched the fight. By the time his attention turned back to his sister, he realized someone was coming after her, with him almost getting caught in the fray. "Oh shit!" He moved away a little to give her room, considering jumping in just for the hell of it, when his dogs barking took his attention away.

The Dobermans drew his attention upward for a moment where he spotted a hawk dive bombing him. Snarling, he snapped at the bird of prey before drawing his head down, offering his prickly mohawk to the bird so it'd end up potentially grabbing that instead. By the time he saw someone other than the bird rushing for him, it was too late. A male about the same height as him slammed into him, knocking the breath out of the horned hellhound. A loud groan escaped him on impact as he struggled for a few moments to try and regain his breath, though he hardly had time before teeth flew toward his face. Instinctively, he turned his head the other way, hoping he'd at least clip the other males face with his horn before while his pawhand reached for the male's throat in an effort to wrap his claws around his throat to keep his opponents teeth at bay.
