I had remained 'out of it' for quite some time now. Probably hours at this point. My body had become numb. Completely limp and nothing but pure dead weight (which even being malnourished was quite the amount of lard just lying there). I had seen the vibrant beauty for just a second against the rain, assuming that she had been an angel there to whisk me away into the heavens. Far to pretty to be a slave of the devil coming to send my soul to the fiery pits of hell. What she had said after I had spoke was beyond me. I was no where near coherent enough to understand her. Hell at this point I hadn't even felt her grip upon my nape nor did I feel her dulled canines slipping beneath my own thick flesh. Although I felt nothing now that didn't mean I wouldn't be feeling it upon waking up!

Some how the petite smaller dame managed to drag my limp carcass across the mucky sand, although it was a bit of a struggle she did prove that looks could be deceiving! Power and strength brew from those of various sizes! To bad I wasn't awake to witness it myself at this time. But givin the circumstances. If I were awake I would be beyond bewildered that is a fact.

She had gone and captured a bit of a meal laying it down before my snout, however at this time I couldn't smell it. Nor could I feel the warmth of her body wrapped around mine. Time seemed to move so slow, tick tick tick tick... Hours could have went by for all I know. By the time my pulse began to strengthen slightly, the rain had seemed to have stopped. Slowly I could feel the stinging in my neck grow stronger and stronger, the scent of the hare now reaching my nostrils. Everything seemed to hit me all at once. I could feel the pressure against my back. Confusion began to overwhelm me now.. Last thing I could remember was being lost at sea.. Floating on a piece of the destroyed ship.... Slowly more visions entered my thoughts. I remember opening my eyes only to be stung my droplets of rain... I remember sand... Then blackness..... Then I remembered another standing there. One that looked just like me, long snout.. Triangular ears, fur coat... And I understand what she said, although I couldn't recall her words... She did stand out against the darkness that surrounded me. Perhaps it was a figment of my imagination. Something I would only see in my dreams.. Silence engulfed me. And after a while of lying ever so still I finally allowed my lids to rise.. Tree's.. I saw a lot of tree's.. Surely that means I'm still alive? I spent most of my days out upon the sea but I do remember seeing tree's before and so they do truly exist.

The thick aroma of meat filled my wet black nostrils, and it caused my jaws to water annoyingly and so I did what any other being would do.. I slowly lifted my head, not to high only inches from the ground, I did however extend out a bit to clasp the furry little creature in my jaws.. Not asking questions yet like where the hell did it come from? Surely no creature would randomly sacrifice itself like this.. Well, unless suicidal perhaps? I outstretched one paw to hold it down, clasping a piece of the back within my jaws and pulling the flesh from the spinal cord. Scarfing it down with barely chewing it. Which did cause me to choke a bit but the hell with it. I'm hungry! It was just then that I realized I was not alone. Oh no... Was I captured?! Was I caught those whom wished death upon me? I wanted to leap onto all fours just to determine where I was but I lacked the strength to do so. And so instead I slowly turned my head to examine where the pressure upon my back was coming from. The warmth of anothers body ever so close to my own nearly sent me in a frenzy. But instead of lashing out, I merely examined the white drenched furry thing beside me. Speaking not a word at this point.
