Cadaver was snapped out of his shock by the sudden intervention of Bowen, the caramel and cream fae who had leaped into action to save him. He watched in awe as she latched onto the elephant's tail, diverting its attention away from him. But before he could even react, the elephant spun around, flinging Bowen away with a force that made Cadaver wince in sympathy. He knew he had to do something to help her.
With a fierce growl, Cadaver charged towards the elephant, his muscles rippling beneath his fur as he leaped at its side, aiming to distract it from Bowen. He snapped at its legs, trying to get its attention focused on him instead of the fallen fae. The elephant trumpeted in annoyance, its massive trunk swinging towards Cadaver as it tried to swat him away like a pesky fly.
But Cadaver was relentless, darting around the elephant- just as the older obsidian brute, his movements agile and calculated. He knew he couldn't take on such a massive creature head-on, but he could at least buy Bowen the time she needed to recover and regroup. Together, they would stand against this formidable foe, united in their determination to protect each other and survive this unexpected encounter.
