Idris was ready to fight the lizard on his own, prepared to defend the ocean bird that would be his next meal. Though he noticed the vibrant blue and red figure that approached from the side, Idris hadn't paid him much mind until a deep and sharp bark rang out toward the opponent he faces. Grey eyes shift to the brute, meeting those ruby toned eyes for a moment before they're back on the reptile. Lazily flicking tongue in their direction as if it didn't care that two mongrels were about to pouncing on it. As much as Idris hated the idea of someone other than his brother assisting him in a fight against another predator, he wouldn't take the harder route. The other guy was taller by a few inches and whatever grew from his legs was both atrocious and dangerous in appearance. What were those things anyway? Not the time to ask though. They had a more important matter at hand. The reptile took a step forward, hissing just loud enough that it should have deterred them. A sigh leaves him, one last look at the stranger. "Go on 3?" Idris asks, a quirk of his facial features to reveal that he might be a little excited about tearing this giant lizard limb from limb. Taking a moment to set himself as the komodo dragon takes another step closer, Idris is ready. "1, 2, 3," the number barely has time to leave him before he lunges forward. Stretching himself out as the dragon stretches his own legs upward to meet him with a louder hiss this time, Idris opens wide and grabs ahold of a gnarled clawed hand as it reaches to strike him in the face. Clamping down on scales and thin fingers, Idris shakes his head a few times, noticing how the dragon barely moves back and forth. |
