Kaizen didn't know Sakura, but he knew of her. He had managed to work out that she'd been gone for a while and had only just returned, that most importantly she'd been away at Nihon, the homeland of his parents. He'd asked questions before of course and he'd learned a lot about his heritage, but none of it felt recent, they simply didn't know exactly what it was like there now. What had changed, and whether it was for better or worse. Finding Sakura in the training area, he stood there awkwardly for a moment, limbs too long in a gangly pup sort of way.

"Hello." He finally greeted, a little stiff in the way you'd expect a son of Hattori to be. "Can you show me how they fight in Nihon? You were there not long ago, yes?" He had other questions of course, but he thought better to work up to them, not just foist them all in her face at once.
