Seeing the stranger had no intention of dealing the killing blow, Ronan just went ahead and did it himself. Made it quick, no need to draw it out since there was no pleasure to be gained from it as far as he was concerned. With a haul, he rolled the beast over and ripped out its throat, made sure to bite down hard and the thing was dead in a few moments or so.
Moving away, he then observed his surroundings once more. Licked the blood off his lips as he noticed how soft the sand was under his paws, spindly bits of drift wood littered the beach, with the occasional seabird perching on the larger branches. Just a little off the shore he saw a few islands dotted about, Ibis Islands if he remembered correctly, since he'd explored them already. They hadn't been very large when he'd been upon them, but from here they looked even smaller, plots of greenery on the horizon.
