Idris wasn't a man that did the dirty work. Plus, watching the lizard gasp for breath and writhe on the sand brought about a certain... emotion in him that he couldn't quite explain. Someone else's life hanging in the balance because of him? It tickled him pink. So much so that he almost commented, but his words were kept to himself for now. Instead, Idris focuses back on his task at hand. It is a delicate, beautiful flower that grows on spindly, long stems. Spreading wide across the embankment, there is plenty for him to gather. When his nose does near it, he can't help but wrinkle it at the strong acrid scent it gives off. Why and how did anyone ever figure out that this stinky plant was of any good use? As he picks a few stems, he lets out a thoughtful noise to the stranger. "No. Just arrived from somewhere far east," his own accent is different than the man that speaks to him, but what dialect or tongue it comes from is a mystery to even himself. |
