Vidarr had caught wind of a ram, and sent Strai to hunt it down and add it to their stock. Something about fresh bloodlines, and the importance of adding to it for the longevity of their flock. Chasing down rumours had been time consuming, and catching the creature alive had been no easy feet either.

But at long last, Strai returned to the pack, pulling the ram on a lead behind him. He wrestled it into an empty pen just as Vidarr called for a pack meeting. Strai was close to gaining a proper rank for himself. He was sure of it.

He headed to the meeting point, his eyes landing immediately on Delphi as he made his way directly to her side. He sat down beside her with a barely audible groan. Home at last.
