She believed she had lost her siblings by the time she dragged herself to the wall. She didn’t stop until she could put her back to a stone pillar, and know the Armada was behind her. Safe. She had made it. She breathed slowly, breathing past the pain, and the memory of her loss. Basilisk was a towering giant, but he was also slow, and an idiot.
