It was far from the first time that she was surprised by her father's call, but what was surprising this time around was the fact that his call was for her and her alone. Her ears perked with recognition and she looked up from where she was working with Solaire on a project her sweet boy had started. She gave him a smile and promised she'd be right back, encouraging him to keep working without her, before turning and trotting out of the castle to go find her father. With as far away as they were from the Armada she had come to accept that she simply wouldn't see her family as much as she would like so it was always a special treat when her father made the journey for one reason or another. She had begun to worry about him making that long of a trip with his ever increasing age, but she had to trust that he knew what he could and couldn't handle.
It didn't take her long to make it out to the near by plains and her father's dark figure was easy to spot among the rolling grasses as he strolled through the Hallows territory. With a little smile she loped over to greet him, tipping her muzzle up to press her nose to his cheek affectionately. "You know, if you're going to let yourself in you could come up to the castle," she teased him with a chuckle, her braided tail wagging gently behind her. She wouldn't interrupt his path though, falling easily in step with him instead and joining the slow walk through the plains beside him. "It's been a long time since we've had any time for just the two of us," she commented, glancing up at him as she spoke. She had no problem sharing the time she got with her father with Art, but it was nice to have some time to catch up with her dad.
