Idris stalked from the safety of the mangrove forest toward the west. In search of something large enough to feed not only himself, but two others was proving difficult within the entanglement of the mangroves. Other surrounding lands were either too sparse, too precarious, or just not... viable. While the hot springs had been tempting for a quick dip, he had a mission to complete. It's not until he reaches the tall grasses that nearly reach his chest does he stop. Surveying his surroundings, he notices that the prey have scattered. He lifts his head slightly higher, looking a bit farther, and then he sees them. Not just one or two, but at least five or six. Around half of his height, but with more than two of them, he wasn't sure he could take them all on. If he wasn't the one to scare them off, he would have to travel even farther for something to eat and that was not in his plan. Resorting to the worst of his options, Idris moves through the grass toward the group of dogs. Taking his time to sneak up on them, he lowers his large frame so that his ivory fur may blend in with the sheen of the grass. As he approaches, he watches them circle and run about, not a care in the world. Frustrated that they were taking away his hunting lands, Idris can't help but let out a growl that shakes his chest. One of the dogs hears him, quickly alerting the rest of them. Stopping in his tracks, Idris now has at least six pairs of black beady eyes on him. Fuck. |
