Emerald Island shimmered in the distance, a tantalizing mirage of green against the azure sea. Despite Sephiran's evident distaste for their destination, Aurelia's curiosity was piqued. As they reached the island's sandy shores, she could see the green tint that gave the island its name, a result of the copper sulfate deposits in the soil. With a determined gleam in her stormy sapphire eyes, Aurelia wasted no time in setting to work. Slipping the empty pouch over her shoulder, she began to gather various samples of the strange, bluish-hued plants and decaying trees that dotted the landscape. Her slender claws dug into the sandy soil, unearthing the organic material she needed. She worked swiftly and methodically, her focus unwavering as she collected enough samples to experiment with back home. |
