It was a call not from either Gil or Modesty, but from one of their kids. While he wasn't besties with any of them, he had practically grown up with them and placed the voice as belonging to Deluge. And she was calling for a raid? Despite his failure in the last one defending against Ethne, he was still going to keep trying. The failures only fueled his self service. His desire to be a force nobody could deny...but that meant he'd have to actually start winning his fights...his lip curled at the thought of every loss. The disappointment in his dad's eyes. The encouragement that Rivin often gave him, but no matter what it seemed his losses far outweighed his wins and it was starting to piss him off. The hellhound made his way to where Deluge had called, though all he offered her was a nod as he sat at the edge of the group in a clearly bad mood. He needed to redeem himself one way or another...show that he wasn't going to give up.
