Big cat, Big attitude

Alaric was back north after his trip west, then south. It took him quite some time to travel back north but it where he felt most at home in the wintery lands. Now with fall upon the continent, he knew that predators would be out trying to stick up on food for winter. Especially bears, who needed all the calories they could get for winter. Alaric's senses were keen and alert already as he moved through the dense redwood forest. It wasn't long until a scent entered his wet nostrils did he realize he had company. Large, threatening, company. This was no bear. No, it was a mountain lion. Alaric's hackles rose to the sky in defense as his orange gaze spotted the cat. It bared it's teeth and gave a mighty hiss. It looked like trouble and Alaric was not one to back down. "Let's dance then." Alaric grumbled outloud, narrowing his gaze. He wouldn't be so easily threatened. The white wolf launched himself at the cougar, his black maws splayed open as he sought it's lower back, near the base of the tail.
