It had been far too long since he had been to the battlefield, and since his last fight during the raid that he had lost, he knew he had to hone his skills a bit more. He'd been spending too much time in the kitchen, not enough time keeping up on other skills, so when he heard a call that he had heard once before, he knew he was up against someone that was a formidable fighter. He followed the dying of her howl until he spotted her. The skeleton marked alphess he had fought before however long ago. He nodded to her, amber gaze watching the way she moved. "Pleasure to meet you again. Shall we get started?"

Shaking himself out to loosen his muscles, Grimoire didn't wait further to engage her. He charged forward, claws ripping up the earth as he sought to clash chest to chest with the woman. Head turned toward her neck as he sought to land a bite there, to grip her with his teeth and pull in the hopes of maybe compromising her balance with the force of his pulling. He had beaten her once before...would he be able to do it again? Or had he fallen out of his element and gotten rusty?
