He let his body move into a defensive position, his own eyes on the dark coated wolf. He left his blade sheathed, letting this fight play out with low stakes.

The orange tinted wolf bounded over in a display of grace, and Mercury returned his grin. “Your coat would be just the right size for me” he agreed, voice light and teasing. He let Kuroki close in, measuring his opponent. The bite to his nose landed, and Merc leaned backwards. Pulling his forpaws up to wrap them around Kuroki. Turning the match into a battle of strength.
