the way we stalk, the way we kiss

It wasn’t all that long ago Kotori had been in a fight to keep leadership of his pack.  His injuries weren’t overly severe but the neck was still stiff and sore.  It added to the anger that hit when he learned they were being raided.  This was no ally pack attacking him but true enemies.  The raiders?  Well, he’d wondered when they’d try to take from him.

Kotori ran towards the battle, anger being honed to add to the power in his attack.  When he spotted Dread amongst the raiders Kotori’s lips pulled up in a hate-filled snarl.  Dread?  A Fatalis was daring to raid his pack?  It was more important than ever that he pay for such a betrayal.

Kotori ran straight for Dread, lowering his body and leaping over a couple of rocks.  “Dread – how dare you raid family.  You’ll pay.”  Only a few strides away now.  He’d never fought the kid so it would be interesting to see if he had the skills to back up this idea.

Kotori ran straight ahead as if he planned to do a head-to-head crash, but before they connected he would aim to slip to one side, tilt his head down and attempt to use his horns to leave a deep slash in Dread’s shoulder, planning to keep going and behind him if possible.
