The fights begin to break out around him, the noises intensifying. He waits, head low to the ground and his posture beginning to stiffen. Then all at once he hears a bark directed his way and he reacts, trying to orient himself toward the sound. His ears swivel as he attempts to bring himself in line with Merlin as he charges him. He isn't able to shy away from the attack entirely, Merlin's bite landing on the side of his neck. Veigar reacts quickly and frantically, thrashing his head around in an attempt to remove the other wolf's hold, seemingly uncaring to the damage it might cause in the process. While he flails, he tries to swing his head around and aim a series of rapid bites hopefully near Merlin's forelimbs. Veigar is completely blind; his eyes are a hazy shade of pale yellow, though he tries his best to hide this fact.
His saliva also glows a faint shade of neon green since the Ooze event.
