Nelu collided with the girl, his shoulder connecting and his fangs grabbing hold of her scruff, behind her head. She started protesting, stating 'ow' and Nelu meant that he was hurting her despite his best efforts but at the same time he'd been instructed that pain was a part of battle and they were invading. Nelu would do his best to defend his home, hopefully with as minimal bloodshed as possible.

Suddenly the girl jerked her head back, he saw horns heading for his face and quick let go but not quite fast enough to avoid her horns puncturing his right cheek, thankfully not very deeply but still enough to draw blood. Hoping to use his size to his advantage Nelu planted his front right paw and kicked his hind legs off hard, seeking to pivot on his right front paw and slam his left hip into the girl's right hip. He hoped it would be enough to knock her over.
