A younger less experienced Mojito might have taken the moment of contact at face value, may have dug his horns in harder but Mojito was too old for that now, something was wrong! The little wolf-dog made to try to back off but as he started to shift he felt the leg behind his own, meant no doubt to trip him if he ran off in a panic. Smart. He'd give it to the kid, he knew what he was doing, he smirked despite himself but kept his paws under him. Ultimately though Mojito had missed the most dangerous part of this encounter, feeling something sharp and cool swipe along the back of his neck. A clean cut.

Mojito hissed in pain and irritation. Kept close as he was it only made the little wolf-dog more determined to really make these wolves regret breaking his peace. With a low growl he attempted to stomp down hard on one of the younger wolf's fore paws, hoping to really smash those toes. But it was meant more as a distraction as he wasn't sticking around if he could help it, he'd make to try and run under the koi marked youth. Neck craned and doing his absolutely damnedest to scrape his horns along the kid's soft underbelly. It wouldn't be enough to really cause any long term damage but hopefully it'd be uncomfortable as all hell and maybe leave some bruising. He was hoping to make a clean break to behind his opponent, well aware he was putting himself at risk of being crushed under the much bigger wolf.
