the way we stalk, the way we kiss

Heart pounding, they don't take long to begin the confrontation. It's much the same as the last time, perhaps more savage than she anticipates. Jael realizes, in these moments, how much she doesn't know about the packs outside their own. What she doesn't know is coming to hurt them, and Jael hardens her stance, her gaze, her posture.

Coming at her with a sword-- fuck. Jael feels the blade catch her cheek, unable to quell the yelp in her throat. Still, the dog doesn't relent. Cutting wide around the woman, Jael moves to flank, to look for her ankles. Snarling and snapping, if Jael could grab she would try to hold. Take her out low and drive her off... hopefully.
