It was difficult to not use Whisper. Every instinct within Dusk screamed to whip her tail around and end the fight. The weapon had become am extension of herself. One might as well have made her fight with three legs.

Dusk had hoped to wrap her forelegs around the other wolf's middle and thus bring them both to the ground, but the smaller wolf ducked away and made for the dark lady's hind legs. Dusk did her best to sidestep, but felt the jaws of her opponent lock around her ankle. Giving a jerk of that leg, Dusk attempted to pull the girl more squarely beneath her larger form so that she could plop down upon her, thus pinning her and hopefully winning this fight.
