Just as she got in closer to her target, the bigger woman turned her head and glanced right at her. She'd been spotted! Ember pressed her attack though, unwilling to back down as she lunged for Brida's throat, but her opponent's chin blocked the way in the nick of time, Ember's jaws deflecting with a harmless snap on air inches away. Blue eyes blazed with fire as adrenaline coursed through her veins with every beat of her heart. The two women's chests beat against one another's in the initial impact, her opponent's larger size knocking Ember back a bit and just enough for her to narrowly avoid getting a giant paw to the face. Ember yipped in surprise and backpedaled a step, but she didn't get far enough away before her opponent's jaws were going for her scruff.

Ember yelped again as those jaws grasped her scruff, almost lifting her off her paws as the giant woman tried to throw her off her paws. "Get your jaws offa me!" Unwilling to get rag dolled without a fight, Ember snarled and turned as best she could to swing her paws out aimed at her opponent's face and neck, sharp feline claws extended out from her paws seeking to slash and dig into any part of flesh she could reach on her much bigger opponent. The good thing about fighting a larger foe—there was no lack of places to swing to find a hit! If she could manage to get her claws in her opponent, maybe she could force her to let go and create some space between them where her larger size wouldn't be such an advantage.
