Goodnight, Sleeptight, Don't let the dead bite

The call wasn't one that she had heard before, but she knew that it was for her mother. It was made by a stranger, far off - distant almost, but it was most certainly made for Jupiter - and it was dire. Ananke followed her mother, watching her orange figure from a distance, her lips pulled into a small frown. What was happening? It all put her on edge, seemed strange and dangerous, and she was grateful for the other members of Ludicael that were there. Among them she recognized Song and Novella, and instantly focused on Oberon, along with her own mother. As she eyed the man that wanted to fight with her mother, she bared her teeth, her toes digging into the ground beneath her. She didn't want her mother hurt, he was going to hurt her - and it made her want to help, but she knew that she couldn't. A sigh escaped her lips as the anger slowly drained, and she sat beside her brother, brushing against his shoulder. "I don't like this." She whispered, her silvery gaze falling to the ground as she lowered her head.
She lifted it again when she heard the words of the dark woman that was almost familiar. The dark woman was close to her mother, that much was certain. The young girl had to wonder whether she was serious - whether she really was as strong as she seemed to be. In any case, her confidence in both her mother and in herself was enough to calm the girl just slightly. Perhaps she shouldn't be so scared, so worried. Yet as she turned toward her mother as the fight began a pit dropped in her stomach. Seeing her be injured would not sit well with her - even if she did win this battle.
