The whoosh of air flying over her tells her that the bird is dangerously close. Too close. Nails nearly swipe at her and a beak darts down to try and lift her from the ground. Thankfully big, bad, and grumpy is able to grab onto the ostrich's tail and put on the brakes. Just as the sharp beak is about to snag her, Lumine feels a rush of cold air instead, her life just barely saved by the stranger. As the angry monster bird turns on the man, distracted by teeth in its butt, Lumine turns to assist. Well, assist as much as she can. Darting forward, she dances around the bird's very large and sharp feet, snapping, jumping, and lunging at its toe to try and distract it some more. |
