THE SCENT OF SPILLING BLOOD AROUSED AND TEMPTED KARMEN into the battle lands. She sauntered slowly, her hips swaying in a seducting sashay, the oral muscle in her jaws skimming her teeth and tasting her lips. Her lashes fluttered with the sound of ripping muscles, the clash of canine-teeth and odorous fluids.

She rose over the hill and descended gradually, not wishing to distract the familiar behemoth who fought on the plains. Canttina had rushed into their plans, following through with the challenge. And if she destroyed the insignificant angel who held the title? A shiver of satisfaction danced down the curve of her spine. Her eyes sought the mammoth figure, drinking it in. She was struck in the chest and her tender belly, a smirk touching Karmen's facade. Even if Canttina failed to prove herself worthy today, there would always be tomorrow.

And Karmen was more than willing to assist in the construction of the matriarch.

She seated herself away from the other on-lookers, quiet, poise, sitting still like a golden good-luck-charm. Amongst them she assumed was Canttina's mate, a wolf she had yet to meet, and to be terribly honest, it wasn't at the top of her priority list. Her sole attention remained on the monster in the field.
