The yearling is excited and Athena can see it as she charges straight at him which causes worry to flutter violently in her stomach. All these raiders seem to want blood and, while she has no qualms about defending her pack, she suddenly fears what will greet the healers when this is all said and done. Quickly, she shoves aside the horrible thoughts as she dips her head down to strike his ankle, avoiding the blades on his gauntlets and she feels her teeth strike true.

Athena does not stop moving as she attacks, her original plan being to grab, hold, and take his leg with her in the hopes of trip him up. However, as she feels his teeth sink into her temples, everything shifts. Pain blares bloody red alarms in her brain and the woman immediately releases his ankle while planting her paws so that she can thrash her head from side to side rapidly as she seeks to try and shake his grip free.

However, before she begins her thrashing, a small owl appears, the little bird having hidden in her scruff, and Archimedes hoots in anger before launching himself at the attacking boy’s face. There is a franticness about her thrashing and Athena flails with all her might in an attempt to dislodge her opponent and push him off and away. Snarls emanate from deep within her chest as the woman fights with everything she has to try and repel the invader.

Teeth seek to try and bite anything and everything that Athena can reach.
