Marrow ran along its side, twisting her head and snapping at it to herd it where she wanted. Ahead of them prairie dogs ducked and scattered. The moose continued on until one of its front legs landed in a prairie dog hole, sending the moose pitching forward. Marrow leapt onto the moose's back, her fangs sinking into the back of its neck, claws helping her hold on. The moose thrashed trying to get back to its feet.
