Kotori felt the flail’s chain strike his front leg and wrap about the side. Kotori lifted his leg, stumbling for a moment but with luck the chain slid away and it didn’t take long for the wolf to regain his balance.  It would be sore but the bone was fine.

Kotori changed tactics of not bothering to attempt to get behind Dread. He’d noticed Dread had also stumbled after the slash to the shoulder.  Kotori hopped up, attempting to put a paw over Dread’s shoulder, his body leaning on the injured shoulder.

Kotori would attempt to tear Dread’s ear clean off.  This wasn’t just about winning a fight, this was leaving a reminder of what would happen to any family member who would raid his home.
