Gonna Catch a Big One

Taiga made her way quietly through the grasses, the rosettes upon her coat helping her to blend with the dappled sunlight and shadows. It didn't matter that she was black and the grass was brown. The wavering shadows provided a nice bit of camouflage.

It wasn't Taiga's job to run the beast down. That would be a waste of her talents. Instead, she waited within the grass while the others began to give chase. When they herded the giraffe back this way, then she would act. Until then, the woman's raspberry gaze stayed upon both their prey and the group. She watched and waited until it was her turn.
