Fighting Seasonal w/ Gru

With their mother and one sibling missing, the remaining pups in the litter have been feeling… a little lost. Or, at least, Gruesome has been because that one sibling that is missing just happens to be his other half, Terror. Worry is a constant companion for him these days as the time slowly grows between the last time they saw hide or of the pair and no signs of their whereabouts can be found. Even the wonderful celestial display that has lit up this evening sky does little to assuage the youth’s fears.
Tonight, as the Northen lights dance gleefully overhead, the terrified young pup trots through the flat land that Insomnia claims, in search for his missing family member. Features are pulled down into a deep frown as he goes, knowing that they have all already checked this place but still hoping that the missing wolves might magically appear in front of him. While there is fear in his mind, the boy’s stride is confident, boarding on nonchalant as he cuts a path through the waving grass.
The lights above illuminate the land in ways never before seen by the young boy’s eyes and, while he does have a mission, Gru cannot help but slow down to look around him. Up above, ribbons of green, pink, and blue wave their fingers through the clear sky while, down below, those glowing colors cast strange and wonderful shadows to skitter across the land. Even the grass seems to be alive from the way the lights make them dance and he cannot help but feel a certain sense of awe at the whole thing.
A thundering of fat puppy paws alerts him all too late to his sibling’s presence and, as his attention is diverted down to the celebrating stalks of grass, the boy is slammed into and bowled over by none other than his brother, Cadaver. With a grunt and he shout, he goes down, rolling from the momentum while snarling in those high-pitched puppy noises that are actually pretty cute. Back legs snap up as he attempts to shove them into his brother’s stomach to hopefully push him away and create some distance between them.
As he attempts to create space, the boy glowers at his brother and huffs, “Cad! How dare you sneak up on me! If you just wanted a fight all you had to do is ask.” Without warning and a huge grin curling his lips, Gru lunges back in, squirming across the grass as he tries to bite his brother’s legs and paws while ‘swimming’ across the light filled area. High up above, the aurora borealis seems to twinkle and glow in laughter at the pair of siblings that are playing in the grass.
