Wendigo exchanged a grin with the stranger, though he didn't have time to acknowledge the practically matched weaponry they both bore - both artificial and natural. Instead he had to throw himself backwards as the bear lashed out at him again, leaving a single burning line of blood across Wendigo 's chest. Luckily, the beast had apparently had enough of these weird, oversized wolves with their weird, oversized fangs and iron claws, because once he had gotten Wen to jump away and give him room, the big creature turned tail and took off. Wendigo charged after him long enough to be certain that the bear was really running and not just getting the space it needed to crush the wolves, then slowed and stopped, tongue lolling out of his grinning jaws. "Yeah you better fucking run!" he shouted tauntingly after it.
