His bid to take her face in his jaws foiled by her pressing in closer, Wendigo used that momentum to shift targets, jaws aimed to sink into the back of her neck just above her shoulders. A deep growl echoed in his chest as he did, though, wincing when her own clawed weapon sliced into the skin between his upper arm and his ribs. That was going to be an absolute bitch all while it healed, if experience told him anything. For now he could ignore it, half-rearing to attempt to wrap his forelegs around her chest, claws seeking a grip on her back and blood staining the white of her pelt as he bore down on her with his jaws and his weight, grappling and attempting to twist their shared balance enough to throw her.
