A gift for grandma

Coming back from the meeting held in The Hallows, she had a lot to think on and consider. Having something so concerning right at their border especially with so many young ones running around the pack... She knew she would likely need to hold a meeting soon so everyone was on the same page on this topic, but first she wanted to unwind a bit and get back to what she had been looking forward to for most of her life–being a mom. She had gotten home late the night before after the pups had already gone to sleep and found her mother there with Saracyn. Avacyn had no doubt that their parents would be very involved grandparents, but she was very grateful for their mother's insistence on babysitting while she handled her duties as Matriarch. Having to balance being a leader and a mother was something she was still figuring out, but at least there was plenty of support around them.

After they spent the morning having breakfast, Saracyn went off to do his patrols and she hung back with the pups. Daemon and Fever quickly found something interesting to mess with at the edge of the clearing and that left her with Thyrus to get all of her attention. She chuckled as she playfully swatted a paw his way, batting back and forth with him as they played. An idea came to mind, however, and she paused as she asked, "Would you like to help me make something to thank grandma for watching you while I was gone? I'm sure she'd love it even more if it came from you." She knew her mother didn't expect anything more than a thank you, but their children were quickly showing just how smart they were and she had always channeled her own creativity into crafts of various sorts so that felt like a good place to begin with their pups as well.
