Gonna Catch a Big One

Anticipation burned within the muscles of the lioness. Her powerful limbs were tensed and ready. More so when the group turned the giraffe and had it running straight for her. The Giraffe faltered as it noticed the cats waiting in the thick grass but it was too late. Hind paws pushed off and Taiga was airborne. Jaws wide, she bit into the throat of the giraffe while massive claws cut through flesh. The combined weight of herself and the sandy colored tiger brought the beast slamming down into the ground. The reverberation rattled through Taiga's bones, but she held on and refused to let go until the giraffe was good and dead.
