Widow left the storage den with Terror in tow and left the gorge to head for the dancefloor. Of course she could've taken a water bladder with them, but gathering water from the creek would be good enough for them since they would be boiling it anyway. With her mouthful of basket, she stayed quiet as they walked and eventually found a decently flat spot close enough to the river to prepare their ingredients and supplies.

"So, we boil the apple cores, peels, and the berries in the fresh creek water. All the juices from them will seep out into the water and create a juice. After it's boiled, we'll let it cool and take the chunks out and it's done!" She said with a smile, motioning to various things as she spoke. "Why don't you go collect some sticks and dry leaves to start a fire" She said and started setting out the ingredients before her.

It was easy for her to peel and core the apples but it was still a bit time so it was a good thing it was taking a moment for Terror to collect enough.
