He felt her grab for the paw he had struck her with, and he let her have it. Leaning his weight into that paw as he lifted his other off the ground. Attempting to wrap it around her shoulder, so he could rake the hardened metal through her scruff. Pulling himself close like a lover as he attempted to bring her pain.
