Colorful lights break up the darkness that night as Charlie slips away from the Armada. His mind is churning, thinking about all that has happened lately, and his mind shifts toward what the future may hold. The saber-toothed male is glad that he has remained with the Armada though, and he can’t help but wonder how his father and sister are fairing. Despite how Kyanite had acted, he worries for her. Such actions wouldn’t have come out of the blue, right? But was she simply blaming Basilisk for what his father had done, or did she actually have reason to hate him as well? It was hard to tell… Kite had never really talked to him and, as far as he could tell, found their other sister Andromeda to be more of a burden. A soft sigh left Charlie’s lips as he let his gaze turn toward the night sky.
Colors of green, blue, and purple waved back and forth among the stars, almost as if it was a living creature. The colors rolled and showed in a way that Charlie never knew they could. He’d never seen lights like that in the sky before… Where had they come from? What caused them to appear in the North? Were they in other locations too, he wondered? So many questions danced within his mind as he walked along the wash, the cool marble stone almost providing comfort. Unlike his mind, which bounced from topic to topic, the stone he walked on was smooth and consistent. It gave him a constant in his life which he supposed he needed. He didn’t like when his mind was so active.
Ears perked forward, Charlie let his blue gaze fall on a femme in the distance. She bore a monochrome coat and, as far as he could tell, she had no pack scent. Curiosities had him approach her, taking note of her posture. Seemed she was a bit on edge just as he was. Charlie offered her a well meaning smile, hoping that his words would not cause offense. “It sure is a beautiful night, isn’t it? A rather interesting setting for those looking to blow off a little steam.” The lights, while beautiful, did not provide a lot of extra light for those on the ground.
“Would you care to join me in a spar, miss?” He asked.
