Tired and slow suffering, she watches the offense cross his face. It's a lot of pageantry that she doesn't have the energy for. Not tonight. Sephiran makes to rush her. Iscariot remains in place, shying from the advance with her head alone. For as much as she doesn't want to relent, hopefully that glimmer of fear is enough for him. Trying not to be too disgusted with herself for letting it slip, her relief in regards to Kaino's interception is palpable. Sleep calls her, the first night of safety since leaving saffron. Safety is relative, right? She's a loaded gun, in and of herself. Eager to shift the focus off herself, onto Kai, she stays quiet. Gaze flicking, if anxiously, to Sephiran. Nothing this small lives to maturity without being useful. Damn near falling asleep on her feet, she can at least promise to be of use. Later. Tough but not stupid, Iscariot's posture remains softened. One long, slow blink and an eepy yawn, she's hopeful that Kaino's intervention has done enough to dissuade any violence tonight. |
