His summon broke through the early morning tranquility of The Polar Sound, echoing through the valley until it tapered off into the ocean inlet. Even if Elysia had been asleep, his voice would rouse her from her slumber. He was sure of it.
While he waited for her to arrive, he continued to survey the clearing, deciding on a starting point before getting to work. He’d start clawing at the earth, his movements methodical and precise, as he tore away at the soil to create the perimeter of the fire pit. With each thrust, his muscles rippled beneath his pelt, displaying raw strength and his determination to complete the task. If they were going to uphold their traditions, they needed to set the stage.
As Elysia emerged from the trees, Rhazien was still in the midst of finishing up the hole. He’d shift his gaze to her, motioning for her to join with a flick of his muzzle. He smirks at her, reveling in that youthful sway of her hips as she approaches, before turning his attention back to digging. “Have you heard of the Sonbahar Blaze?” He’d muse aloud, working through the fatigue starting to brew in his shoulders. Beads of sweat glisten across his chiseled features, sunlight tricking through the pines and casting its warmth across his pelt.
