His foreleg successfully caught her own, pulling the young woman closer. Charlie’s teeth slipped onto her cheek, drawing forth a bit of blood in the wake of his fangs. But Voodoo was on the move, her right shoulder being pushed into his larger body. Their close proximity made things harder for him too. With Voodoo drawing so close he was forced to abandon his bite on her cheek as she slipped a bit under him and managed to get herself a bite around his bottom jaw. The hold felt awkward, and Charlie found himself positioned awkwardly above her, the feeling of her bite a weight holding his head down as his head tipped inward to compensate. His heart raced in his chest, a couple seconds ticking by before he lifted a foreleg to try and loop it over her body and weigh it down.

Help came in the form of Charlie’s companions. With a cry from above Silveris made her presence known, the shrike swooping down over the two combatants. Yorrick would also charge in, seeking to slam into the back leg of the woman and break her focus so that she might release the young man she held. It was funny to think she might have already gotten Charlie in a submission hold.
